uh oh.

"One of the prerequisites for Physics 121 is 1st-semester calculus.  Thus, on the first day of classes, we assume you possess a good understanding of 1st-semester calculus.  We also assume you possess a superb understanding of both algebra and trigonometry.  Mathematics is the language of physics, and you must have this basic mathematics background in order to succeed in Physics 121. In order to demonstrate your proficiency in mathematics, you must pass a mathematics exam which will be offered during the first two days of class, April 23-24, 2012.  Passing means scoring above 80%.  If you fail this exam, you will be dropped from Physics 121."

...calc wasn't listed as a prereq....

I have never taken calculus.  My trig and algebra were really good...once upon a time.  I can revive those, but calculus..... My life might be over.  Hopes and dreams = crushed.

At least I have a practice exam.

I feel like this guy...crap.

I don't remember ever failing something before.  Like really failing.  I got a C once...retook the class to get an A.  I got a D on a test once...maybe twice.

I guess I am referring specifically to classes in the "I've never failed" statement.  I've auditioned and didn't make it, I've been trusted by someone and lost it, I've broken promises- AHA!- my love-life fails.  What love-life?  Exactly.  But I do not fail at school.

I'm going to fail.  Goodbye sleep, food, hiking, friends, movies...everything.  I have to go learn:

Calculus:
1. Derivatives and integrals of polynomials
2. Derivatives and integrals of logarithmic and exponential functions
3. Derivatives and integrals of trigonometric functions

I hated logarithms.... crap
Guys- I may have finally found something that I cannot do.

The bright side is, if this doesn't work....

I have a future in construction.

  1. And you could make a pretty decent "Pizza Dough Acrobat." You have a picture on this blog to prove it. Or you could be an Elementary School Music teacher. Or a Voice Teacher. Or a professional oboist. Or a professional vocalist. Or a professional blogger. Or... you get the idea. You can do a lot of things, but if nothing else...

You are a pretty awesome big sister.
