that one time that I went to The Avengers

~It was incredible.

~It has the best one-liners.

~The comedy was spot on.

~The action was great.

~There was no filth...there may have been 1 or 2 swear words, but I didn't even notice....there was no sex, no drugs, no heavy profanity, no innuendos.  It was wonderful.

It is kindof ridiculous to get everyone to go anywhere.  I had a concert that I should have stayed at, as it was I went to the first half and planned to meet everyone later, when they were ready to drive off.
That never works out the way you want it to.

 Friday morning-
Matt : "Everyone, we must leave, from the little circle, at 7:45"
Aria: "I gotta be at the concert til at least 8"
Matt: "Alright, well Seth gets off then, so you should take him later"

Friday afternoon-
Seth: "Everyone is leaving after 8 anyways"
Matt: "You and Seth are the only ones that know that"
Aria: "But you still want me to drive?"

Friday Evening:
Matt: "You don't have to drive."
Seth: "I'll call you when everyone is here and ready to go."
Bree: "We made shirts! Everyone else should dress up too!!!"
Lacey: "Everyone has a ride, right?"

Friday at 8:
Martin: *called me because nobody was anywhere to be seen
Aria: *at the concert, leaves, retrieves Martin and took him back to the concert
Seth: *10 min later* "You guys should get out here as soon as possible"
Aria and Martin: *leave the concert

8:25-
Rommel: Shows up. Hungry, but with the other car.
Matt:  "I need gas."
EVERYONE goes to Chevron.  Rommel's car is hungry, so goes next door to MacDonald's because he doesn't need gas and I get Matt and Seth $1 burgers because I prefer their company when they're not hungry.

When did we get on the road to Mililani Theater? 8:45.
Luckily Lacey and Bree were already in Mililani and had saved a spot for us at the front of the line, so we got dang good seats.

Sorry for the blow-by-blow.  I love these people, and this is what we go through whenever we plan to go somewhere.  RIDICULOUS.  wouldn't have it any other way.

You know what else is ridiculous?
The Avengers' awesome-ness.

Also, the obsession with this guy.

The other girls unanimously decided that THOR is the best (aka, most attractive) superhero.

I think I'm a Captain America kind of girl.

On the way someone said we have to stay for the credits because there is an extra scene. I really like staying until the end of the credits, the very end.  I think people should, you know, get credit for whatever they did.  Credits can be funny- there are always goofy names and weird bands, you get to see if the actors did their own singing, maybe they have silly nick-names, you get to see what companies were involved....
ie- did you know that Rosetta Stone did some work for The Avengers?  They did.  There was Russian in the very beginning. Would not have crossed my mind, but it's cool.
Well- the extra scene was played in the middle of the credits, and then everyone left the theater, except me; so Rommel stayed with me.  PS- there is ANOTHER extra, just for kicks, scene at the very VERY end of The Avengers.  You probably missed it.  ha!

  1. We of course did NOT miss it. We are the ones who taught you to stay to the VERY end of a movie. You paid to see it, see it all! We now know what schwarma is, but not yet where to get it in Vegas.
