'What are your kids doing in the middle of the night?'

After spending all day in the library doing homework, I went forward with our plan to do tinfoil dinners.
Which was slightly hindered by the appearance of the fire department.
So we took the fire down a bit.
Sorry pregnant lady next door, I wish you'd sent over your husband to tell us, the poor firemen were enjoying a quiet Saturday night.

We'll make sure our future fires don't produce so much smoke.
 Ooo, banana boats.

I decided on a whim to join Kylie, a pair of twins, and their friend.  At 10:30pm we left to go

jump off Waimea rock.

Trying as hard as I can to document it for you.
It rained a bit.  Made it kinda cold but the water was warmish.  It's hard to see anything because it's a bit dark...but maybe the glowstick helps.

Kylie jumped in!  There is the splash                                         and there she is.

We jumped off a few times.  The rain subsided.

Last round

Did it!  Group photo with the camera timer and then time to go home.
Just as we were getting in the car to leave, we got shooed out of the parking lot by the police when they came to close the gates.   The night wouldn't be complete without a run-in with both the police and the fire-department.
We joke- stereotypically mothers get asked if they know what their children are doing at 11 o'clock at night.  Nothing too big, just jumping off cliffs into and talking to law enforcement agencies.

good end to a booooooring, study saturated saturday.
