small flip-out

Just a small one.

It is 90degrees F  today in Phom Penh.

And I log onto facebook....
I really need to stay off of it.  Seriously.  Facebook is a timesucker.
But there isn't a more reliable way of contacting people to coordinate rides/storage/paperwork/ yada yada.

At this point it can't be helped.

Back to the story- I log onto facebook and my friend posts a picture.
"First big snow!"

Where is she?  Oh, she's in Korea.
<inhaling groan>
Where am I going to be next week?
In Korea.  I'm meeting a friend for brunch during my layover.

Story about that.  These are the people that I bought Rage from (Rage is our car).  We bought it the day before they left the island and then they went and got married and moved to Korea. As we parted they were like, if you're ever in Korea...
And Abby and I were like, yeah- IF- that'd be totally cool.
But inside we're like, yeah that's not gonna happen.
But it's happening.  If you'd told me when I bought the car that I'd see this couple 6mos later in Korea, I would have given you a 'you keep thinking that honey' smile and disregarded it completely.

Monique told me to wear the warmest clothes I had because it will be cold.
And then I saw this picture.
And then I checked the weather forecast.
<GASP> It's going to be between 28-47 degrees F on the day I'm there.
<inner turmoil>

I am not prepared for that. Not at all.

It's against the law to take the airplane blankets off of the flight.
<melodramatic> I'm going to die.
