Everyone should do this. Best idea ever.
All of the images that aunt Melissa sent me prints that had been scanned. So I put them in photoshop and took off the white space and the glare from the class. On really old ones I corrected the color, lightened people in shadow, made it look like uncle Paul has more hair (jk).
My grandfather died when I was 7. I don't have many pictures or memories of him, but there he was, on my computer screen waiting for me to clear up the image. I got everyone's picture put onto the day of their birthday. I put up wedding pictures for Aunt's and Uncles anniversaries. I have all of the pictures I edited on my Walgreens account so that my family can get physical copies of them if they want.
BUT then I did something crazy.
I put them on facebook.
don't go check, because if you aren't a family member you won't be able to see them.
This, my friends, was a great idea.
None of my cousins even knew these photos existed.
Now we get to comment on how Travis always wore a bowtie...or how none of the kids are smiling in this photo.
And through this, I realized a few things.
I am so glad I grew up, because I was not a cute adolescent. NOT AT ALL.
Also- I looked like my brother. I'm not kidding, it was one of the pictures and my cousin was like....wait, is that David? but no, it was me.

Anyway, I'm glad to renew memories like this-
Alayna and cousin Michael-
Alayna is going to tell his future wife that she was his first love
Well, she was.

These are my grandparents on the day of my parent's wedding.
