Mayans

So there was this day that the world was supposed to end.
And so we had a party.  I mean, let's be honest, who wouldn't want to spend their last few moments on earth with friends and/or family making t-shirts, decorating gingerbread men (apocalypse style), and watching a movie about how the world is supposed to end? (2012)

My sister Layn has this screen-printing material.  So she found a Mayan calendar and drew it onto the screen--
just kidding, she printed it off the computer--
and she had us all bring (well, I just bought) plain t-shirts.

I, because I think it's cool, drew an apocalypse scene on the back of my shirt.  I was unsuccessful at getting her to add it to the design, so I did my own.  Earthquake, tsunamis, fires, zombies AND aliens.  mmmHm.

'

Mostly it was simply a really good time with friends that I haven't seen in quite a while.

We're totally going to tell our kids that it did end.  Zombies, tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, fires, electricity surges.... "I survived that for you."
