We have a tradition.
The day before Christmas we go over to our cousin's house and have dinner. But the most important part is the Nativity reenactment.
Yup.
When we were very little, we would dress up and one of the aunts would read the scrips from Luke 2 and 3rd Nephi so that we got both sides of the story. Now that we're older we do puppets. Full on puppet theater.
And for the last 2 years we've made some really stellar Star Wars references and laughed so hard we were sore the next day. It's on film...but it is NEVER as funny the second time.
On Christmas day we watched Brave. And Thor. And ate our traditional breakfast on our Christmas china. Mom and I made baskets to take to our neighbors, some of them were there and some weren't. And then we went over to our cousin's house for another dinner.
Eating. It's what we do.
We talked about Pitch Perfect and Dr Who and the Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Sufjan Stevens.
