Performance Feedback in Australia.

Some recent feedback from Elder Walker, the Area Seventy who attended the Brisbane events:

"We enjoyed the matinee performance on Saturday afternoon and the Multi Stake YSA Fireside on Sunday night was a spiritual highlight for all those in attendance. I spoke to an investigator after the meeting who was at the Fireside who had felt the spirit that evening and confirmed that she was to be baptised in the next couple of weeks. I am sure there are many others who were also touched by the spirit that they felt as they attended performances put on by the choir during their visit to Brisbane.
The Regional Public Affairs team and I will be meeting with the Red Cross later this week and I am sure the money raised from the gold coin donation will go a long way in continuing to strengthen the relationships that have been established between our organizations."

"I was at the Multi-Faith Centre at the Griffith University Campus at Nathan today with Brian Adams and our Regional DPA and one of her assistants and we spoke of the impact and success of the BYU-H Choir visit to Brisbane recently and especially the importance of your visit to the Multi-Faith Centre and how that contributed to dismantling any barriers that may have existed between us and other faith groups."
This is our part of that performance on the 20th of June.

and this is the full song of that one song that they cut out.  My favorite song. Hands down.   (well...almost down. we still have How Great Thou Art.)
We had planed to sing 2 other songs, that we didn't get to in the interest of time.  Well, one of these is Baba Yetu--which is one of my favorites-- but also requires 3 instruments that we just lug around.  I stepped down and didn't sing the first song because I'd realized that the percussionists didn't grab their equipment (they were volunteer percussionists, real percussionists would not do such a thing).  Being the instrument manager, I went and got them.  That drum is heavy, and was showing the wear of our trip, we were dragging it around and not using it, which wasfrustrating.  But, we were tired, it had been a long few days, and the concert was already pretty long.
